Before & After Pics of Dubbs - Shape Plus

When Jess asked me to put pen to paper, to share my story, I was a little hesitant not knowing if it would hold much interest to anyone.  But, here it goes…

I started with ShapePlus at the age of 50, having recently gone through some personal trauma.  During this time, I allowed food and lethargy to become my friend, resulting in an exasperating weight gain, landing me at 185 pounds. The highest number of my life. Asking for help is sometimes the hardest thing to do, but I did ask.  Jess and ShapePlus answered.  I consider it one of the best actions and decisions I have ever made.

I am now 58 and walk around at 135 pounds. I show up 3 days a week, every week.  With the inspiration and support of my workout buddy, Corrie, (also known as AK) and Jess always in my corner, I am in the best physical and mental state of my life.  I owe them both the world.

At every plateau and frustration, Jess was there.  He gave me the confidence to think of myself as an athlete, something that was so foreign to me, yet something I have fully embraced.

I use my food journal every single day and follow the eating plan supplied by ShapePlus.  Of course there is no such thing as perfection.  Yet, if you follow it and bring yourself back inline when you waiver, it will be there.

Do something every day that makes you proud.  That, too, can become an addiction, just a positive one.
