Nutrition Coaching & Support
Your nutrition should fit your life—not take it over.
Nutrition coaching and support are built into your personalized training program. We learn your goals, your schedule, the foods you enjoy, your responsibilities, and your real life. Then we create a nutrition plan you can actually follow—one that supports your workouts and helps you get Amazing Results.
Nutrition Built Around Your Life
The best nutrition plan in the world is worthless if it doesn’t fit the person expected to follow it.
Your nutrition plan has to work in your real life—not only when everything goes perfectly. It has to work when you are busy, when work runs late, when you are feeding a family, when you are eating at your desk, and when you need something quick before heading out the door.
That is why we don’t start by handing you a generic meal plan. We start by learning about you.
Before we build your nutrition plan, we need to know:
- What are your goals?
- What time do you wake up and go to bed?
- What does your workday look like?
- When do you train?
- When can you actually eat?
- Are you cooking only for yourself or eating with a spouse, partner, or family?
- Do you enjoy cooking, or do you need meals that are fast and simple?
- Which foods do you enjoy—and which foods are you not going to eat?
- Where do most of your meals happen: at home, at work, at a restaurant, or sometimes in the car?
If you need something quick in the morning, we might build a shake or a simple combination of protein, oatmeal, fruit, and healthy fats. If you enjoy cooking and have the time, we can build more complete meals that you enjoy preparing and eating.
The plan should be more convenient to follow than it is to avoid. When your nutrition fits your schedule, your tastes, and your responsibilities, following through becomes much more consistent.
Simple is beautiful.
How We Build Your Nutrition Plan
Once we understand your life, we can build the plan.
Your goals help determine what your body needs. Your schedule, food preferences, training, and responsibilities help determine how we make those needs work in the real world.
We look at:
- Your calorie needs
- How much protein you should be eating
- The right balance of carbohydrates and fats
- How your meals should be spaced throughout the day
- What you should eat before and after training
- Where shakes, snacks, restaurant meals, and quick options fit
- What needs to change as your body and goals change
From there, we put the pieces together into meals and portions that make sense for you.
You will know what to eat, how much to eat, and when to eat it—without turning every meal into a science project.
The plan is not carved in stone. We review your progress, see how your body is responding, and make adjustments when needed.
Your nutrition plan should grow with you.
Size Matters and Timing Is Everything®
Knowing what to eat is only part of the plan. You also need to know how much to eat and where it fits into your day.
Portion size matters. Protein matters. Carbohydrates and fats matter. But none of those numbers mean much unless they are turned into meals you understand and can repeat.
We show you:
- How much protein you should have at each meal
- What an appropriate serving of carbohydrates looks like
- Where healthy fats fit
- How to build a balanced plate
- How meals and snacks fit around your workday and training
- When a shake or quick meal makes more sense than skipping food altogether
Sometimes that means measuring a portion so you can see what the right amount actually looks like. Sometimes it means using simple visual guides—like the size of your hand—so you can make good choices without carrying a food scale everywhere you go.
Timing does not mean living by a stopwatch. It means arranging your nutrition around your schedule, your workouts, and the times you are actually able to eat.
You will know what to eat, how much to eat, and when it fits best—without making nutrition the most complicated part of your day.
Size Matters and Timing Is Everything®—but it still has to fit your life.
Nutrition + Training Work Together
Amazing Results do not come from training alone—or from trying to out-diet a program that does not fit your life.
Your workouts and nutrition have to support the same goal. Training gives your body a reason to change. Nutrition gives it what it needs to recover, build strength, lose body fat, and keep moving forward.
That is why nutrition coaching is built into the Shape Plus MMAP® System—our Massive Multiple Action Plan®.
Your MMAP® brings together:
- Your customized training plan
- Your personalized nutrition plan
- Progress tracking
- Ongoing coaching
- Support and accountability
- Adjustments as your body, schedule, and goals change
We do not hand you one plan for the gym and another plan for the rest of your life. We build one complete strategy around you.
Your training, nutrition, and accountability should all be moving in the same direction.
What Nutrition Coaching Includes
You are not left with a meal plan and expected to figure out the rest on your own.
Your nutrition coaching is part of an ongoing process. We help you understand the plan, put it into action, and adjust it as your body, schedule, and goals change.
Your program may include:
- Personalized calorie and protein targets
- Guidance for carbohydrates and healthy fats
- Meal and portion recommendations
- Simple meals, snacks, and shake options
- Grocery and restaurant guidance
- Nutrition built around your training schedule
- Progress reviews and plan adjustments
- Coaching when something is not working
- Accountability to help you stay consistent
Some people need more structure. Others need more flexibility. Some need help with portions, protein, meal preparation, restaurant choices, or eating consistently throughout a busy day.
We focus on the areas that will make the biggest difference for you.
The goal is not to make you think about food all day. The goal is to give you a plan you understand, can follow, and can continue using.

Nutrition Coaching FAQs
Is nutrition coaching included with Shape Plus personal training?
Yes. Nutrition coaching and support are built into your personalized training program. We do not offer nutrition as a separate standalone service. Your workouts, nutrition, progress tracking, coaching, and accountability are designed to work together toward the same goal.
How is my nutrition plan customized?
We begin by learning about you—your goals, schedule, training, food preferences, responsibilities, cooking habits, and where your meals usually happen.
From there, we determine the calories, protein, carbohydrates, fats, portions, meal structure, and timing that make sense for your body and your life. The plan is built around you—not around a generic diet.
Will I receive a meal plan?
Your plan may include meal ideas, food combinations, portion recommendations, shakes, snacks, restaurant options, and simple meals you can repeat.
Some clients need more structure. Others need more flexibility. We build the level of detail that helps you understand what to eat, how much to eat, and how to make it work throughout your day.
Do I have to count calories or weigh every meal?
Not necessarily. Measuring and tracking can be useful in the beginning because they show you what the right portions actually look like.
Once you understand the amounts, we may also use simple visual guides—such as the size of your hand—so you can make strong choices without carrying a food scale everywhere you go.
Can my nutrition plan work with restaurants, travel, and a busy schedule?
It has to.
A nutrition plan that works only when you are home, completely prepared, and following a perfect schedule will not work for very long. We plan for workdays, restaurants, travel, family meals, quick options, and the times when life does not go exactly as planned.
Your plan should fit your life—not take it over.
How do nutrition and training work together in the Shape Plus MMAP® System?
Training gives your body a reason to change. Nutrition provides the fuel and support needed to recover, build strength, lose body fat, and keep progressing.
The Shape Plus MMAP® System brings your customized training, personalized nutrition, progress tracking, coaching, support, and accountability together as one complete strategy.
How often will my nutrition plan be reviewed and adjusted?
Your plan is not carved in stone. We review your progress, look at how your body is responding, and make adjustments when needed.
Your nutrition may change as your body changes, your schedule changes, or your goals evolve. The plan should continue growing with you.
