How many carbohydrates? How much protein? Good fats, bad fats, no carbohydrates, protein drinks, protein bars, organic, vegetarian diets, The Zone Diet, Atkins Diet, South Beach Diet, Smoothie Diets, the Food Pyramid, and now the USDA Choose My Plate!

There are so many messages and all of them mixed and shouting “eat this, NO! Eat that!” If you eat too much you will get fat, if you don’t eat enough your metabolism will slow down and your body will go into storing mode and you will get fat.

It’s no wonder we are so confused about what to eat, when to eat, and how often. What is the answer? Ironically the answer to all these questions about nutrition is simple. Just like walking 20 miles is simple, but it’s not easy.

We will coach and guide you on how to get the best nutrients and the best taste out of foods that are going to fuel your workouts with us (and believe me, you are going to need the right nutrients to get through our workouts). Look, if you were a top fuel dragster you wouldn’t put 85 octane in your tank would you? Absolutely not, you need racing fuel to get you down the track to deliver the best performance. For you that means getting the right foods at the right times to have the body and the health that you want!

We need to understand your life schedule and the foods you enjoy in order to put together the right plan of nutrition for you. If you enjoy your meals and they are convenient for your life then you will follow through with the nutritional program. You are going to choose from foods that will give you what you need for your specific goals and we will do the math and calorie counting for you to make sure it is on track for the right amount of protein, carbs and fat necessary to either lose weight, gain weight, or tone and sculpt to what your specific goals entail, from burning fat or increasing lean muscle tissue or both.

The timing of your meals is just as crucial as the actual nutrients that you take in. So we will take a look at your day and what it entails and when. Then we will break it down for you and make it simple. One of the reasons people fail to follow through with a nutritional program is because it is inconvenient and to complicated. It doesn’t fit their life. In fact most nutritional programs and plans are that way because they aren’t built for you. Your program needs to be built to fit your life. We need to make this nutritional program more convenient to follow through with than to defer from it. When it would actually be more inconvenient to go outside of your nutritional program than to follow it then you will follow through and get the results you have always wanted and it won’t seem like a time consuming, overwhelming burden. Simple is beautiful.

We will need to know:

  • What time do you wake up and what time do you go to bed?
  • Are you single, married, or have a significant other you are eating with?
  • Do you have kids?
  • What is your wakeup time?
  • What time do you go to work?
  • When is your lunch?
  • Where do you go for lunch?
  • Do you have breaks?
  • Do you have breaks?
  • What time is your dinner?

We need to know if you like to cook and have time or just want to keep it really simple and quick. Do you need something quick and easy to get you out the door in the morning such as a shake, then we will build it for you down to the specific tablespoon measurement or build a hybrid of supplement and real food such as oatmeal and a whey protein and some berries with peanut butter. If you like to cook and have time then we can build more elaborate meals for you so you can enjoy the process and the finished product you will consume.

We need to know where you eating this meal? At home? At work? In the car? We will build meals starting with questions such as do you like eggs or do you like oatmeal? Do you like turkey bacon or real bacon? Do you like butter or light cream cheese?

After we know your schedule and particular likes and dislikes we can build the perfect nutritional program for you.

Our nutritional program is not some fad diet or some gimmick to sell pills or a powder. It is your body’s rules and we will manage your nutrition to make your body do what we want.

Hardly eating or not eating very much is not the answer. The right answer is eating the right amount of the right nutrients at the right time for you based on your metabolism and burn rate. That’s a lot of rights, right?!

Deprivation is often spoken of, but it is really backwards. Many talk of deprivation that they won’t get to eat certain things. It should really be considered of what they are really depriving themselves of: Energy, Self-confidence, feeling sexy, feeling attractive, the ability to hike, to run, to play with their spouse, kids or finding the mate that they are also attracted to. You may not know how great you can feel because you are so used to not feeling as great as you possibly can!
